Zelenskyy rejects Trump's suggestion that Ukraine may have to cede territory to Russia

A long-awaited meeting between Trump and Putin is scheduled for next week in Alaska, Trump announced Friday on social media. Later that day, Trump suggested that there have been talks about Russia and Ukraine potentially "swapping" territory as part of a ceasefire deal — a proposal that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy opposed, writing that his country “will not give their land to occupiers."
NBC News since reported the White House is now considering inviting Zelenskyy to Alaska, according to a senior U.S. official and three people briefed on the internal discussions. MSNBC Senior White House Correspondent Vaughn Hillyard reports.
